Ray has been a licensed funeral director since 1983. Since arriving in Aiken in 1999, he has become involved in may civic organizations and has become recognized as someone who supports his community. Ray was recognized by the Aiken Chamber of Commerce as the Small Businessman of the year in 2003 and the Aiken Dept. of Public Safety awarded him the Volunteer Firefighter of the year in 2005.

Since acquiring George Funeral Homes with her husband in 1999, Alicia has been a tireless contributor to her church, school and community. She volunteers in many capacities and is acknowledged for her outgoing personality and willingness to pitch in and help.

Paul joined the staff of George Funeral Homes in 2001 as a part-time assistant. An Augusta native, Paul attained the rank of Eagle Scout in 1988. After college, he began a career in computer programming. His love and commitment to funeral service is evidenced by his decision to further his education and to become a full-time, licensed funeral director/embalmer in 2005.

After being the office manager/bookkeeper at another well-known Aiken business for 28 years, Vicky joined the staff at George Funeral Homes in the same capacity in 2004. She and her husband Jim have lived in Aiken since 1990 and attend church at Central Church of Christ, Evans, GA.

Thomas joined the staff in the spring of 2006, moving with his wife and daughter to Aiken from Western Tennessee. He brings over thirty years of care giving experience to our funeral home. Thomas holds multiple degrees, including a MBA from Northwestern University. In addition to being a licensed funeral director, Thomas furthered his education and is also an ordained pastor. He has been recognized by several business organizations for his knowledge and contributions to his community.
