"Joy in the Mourning"  Center for Life Losses

Grief Recovery 101 Program

If you have experienced the death of a loved one within the past year, this 6-week program is especially for you. It has been designed specifically for those who have experienced the recent loss of someone important in their lives. Each week we will discuss a different topic about what to expect during the time of grief and mourning and also things to do that will help you move through your grief. Time will be allowed for questions and discussion.

This program is not a therapy group or a support group. It is offered as a non-threatening class in which you can simply listen, learn, and ask questions about what to expect as you are working through your grief. We don't want you to worry that you will be expected to bare your soul.
