Alyssa Marie Brown was born on September 24, 1993, to her mother, Rose Marie Brown. For 31 brief years Alyssa’s family was gifted with unconditional love and contagious smiles and laughs. Alyssa enjoyed spending time with her family, helping others, decorating for birthday parties, playing with the kids, cooking her cheesy mashed potatoes, fishing, coloring, and watching all kinds of movies. While Alyssa loved Rick and Morty and all Tim Burton movies, her favorite was “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” No matter what was going on in her life (hard times or the good times), Alyssa was so strong. She helped anyone she could, and she took it all in with a smile on her face and laughter in her voice. Her smile was so contagious, and she always had laughter in her voice. Every person’s life that Alyssa touched walked away a better person because of that encounter.
Although God took his beautiful daughter home on April 3, 2025, she will forever be loved, and she will never be forgotten. Alyssa was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend to many.
Alyssa is survived by her daughter; Selena M. Brown, brother; Adam M. A. Roberts, Aunts; Helen B. Brown, Patty A. Brown, and Dawn D. Brown, Uncles; Anthony Hall and Charles Campbell, and a legion of cousins. Although Alyssa’s journey in this world is complete, her story is not yet finished as she joins her daughter; Rose C. Binnarr, Mother; Rose M. Brown, Grandmother, Helen D. Stills, and Uncle; Frank F. Brown.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
