Adelaide Ricker Johnson

Graveside services for Mrs. Adelaide Ricker Johnson will be held Tuesday at 2 PM, September 13, 2005 in Bethany Cemetery, Aiken, SC, with The Reverend Leon Mozeliak officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 13, 2005 from 11 AM until 12 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC.

Mrs. Johnson, 88, of North Charleston, SC, died Sunday, morning, September 11, 2005 at the Trident Medical Center, Charleston, SC.

Born in Haverstraw, NY, a daughter of the late William and Margaret Taylor Ricker, she had lived in Aiken, SC, from 1961 until relocating to North Charleston, SC in 1998. She was a member of St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church, the Daughters of the American Revolution and was a former Pink Lady at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

She is survived by a son, Peter William Johnson, Elizabeth Dupree North Charleston, SC; and a granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Johnson, North Charleston, SC. Her husband, Clarence O. ?Larry? Johnson, preceded her in death.
