Adeline Helen Anton

Mrs. Adeline Helen Cigancik Anton, 86, of Aiken, SC, formerly of LaGrange Park, IL, died Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Pepper Hill Nursing Center, Aiken. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 10am at St. Louise De Marillac Church, 1144 Harrison Ave., LaGrange Park. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.

A daughter of the late Steven and Veronica Cigancik, she was born in Stickney, IL and had lived in LaGrange Park before moving to Aiken to be near her son. She retired as a secretary for the Pitman Printing Co. and had been a communicant of St. Louise De Marillac Church for over forty five years where she had been a member of the Woman's Club and bowling team.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Louis Anton, who died in 1983 and her brother Edward Cigancik.

She is survived by her son, Donald Anton and his wife, Mary, Aiken; a sister, Blanche Patterson, of New Port Richie, FL and a grandson, Daniel Anton, Aiken. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the SmileTrain Fund www.smiletrain.org.
