Arlis Reynolds

AIKEN, SC- ARLIS TILLMAN REYNOLDS "Art," 67, beloved husband of Wanda Fay Reynolds, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014.

Art was a son of the late Arlis Tillman Reynolds, Sr. and Essie Nell Reynolds. Art proudly served his country in the United States Army 82nd and 101st Air Borne Divisions where he received the Bronze Star for Valor during service in the Vietnam War. Art worked at Plant Vogtle as the Vogtle Site Quality Control Manager. Art enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He will be remembered for the love he showed his family and his incredible work ethic and devotion to his profession and co-workers.

Survivors in addition to Fay, his wife of 24 years, include a daughter, Arlene Acord; two sons, Vic Reynolds and Arlis Reynolds; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchilden; siblings, Lynn and Buddy Roumillat and William and Trina Reynolds; and many additional family members he loved very dearly. In addition to his parents, Art was preceded in death by a son, Eric Reynolds.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 3 until 6 PM at the family home. The Reverend Donald Ray Edwards will give remarks at 4 PM.
