Avis Bobbitt Lefler

Mrs. Avis Bobbit Lefler died Monday, October 18, 2004 at her residence. She was born in Orange County, Indiana and was a daughter of the late Edward R. & Blanche Dillinger Bobbitt. She was a retired seamstress, having worked at Seinshimers in New Albany, IN for over 40 years.

She and her late husband Leon, 1988 retired to Ocala, FL in 1976 and she moved to Aiken in 1994 to be near her daughter.

She maintained her membership at DePaul Memorial United Methodist Church in New Albany.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sue L. and Jim Henry, Aiken, two sisters; Margaret Duval, New Albany and Sylvia Pamplin, New Albany, four grandchildren; Deborah, Lori, Wendy, & David and nine great grandchildren; Andy, Jimmy, Marissa, Sarah, Joe, Elizabeth, David, Michael, & Jackie.
