Barbara Ellen Howell Mizzell

Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Ellen Howell Mizzell will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at 10:00am at George Funeral Home, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken, with Pastor Benny Williams officiating. Interment will take place at 2:00pm at Plantation Memorial Gardens, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5-7pm at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Children?s Place, 310 Barnwell Ave. NE Aiken, SC 29801.

Mrs. Mizzell, 65, of Aiken, died Friday March 10, 2006 at Select Specialty Hospital, Augusta, GA. A daughter of the late Clarence E. and Marjorie Workman Howell Mizzell, she was born in Ashland, KY and had lived in Summerville, SC before moving to Aiken in 2001. She was a member of Carnes Crossroads Church of God and a homemaker who chose to stay home and raise her five sons.

She is survived by her sons; Mark R. Crisp, Aiken, John D. Crisp, Columbia, Michael S. Crisp, Florida, Timothy Mizzell, Goose Creek and Matthew S. Mizzell, Hanahan. Mrs. Mizzell is also survived by five grandchildren; Mark Crisp, Jr., Farren D. Crisp, Joel Crisp, Jayson Crisp and Tiffanie Crisp, three brothers; Charles Howell Cottageville SC, John Howell Clarkeville TN and Timothy Howell York, SC, three sisters; Loretta Litzenburger KY, Betty Wilson Summerville SC andJean Edgar Jacksonville FL and one great granddaughter, Taylor Crisp.
