Bessie Lou Goldman Day

Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Lou Goldman Day will be held at 2 PM Saturday, April 16, 2005 at Shiloh Baptist Church, Aiken, SC with Pastor Louie Anderson and Pastor Taylor Wells officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Day will be placed in the church at 1 PM Saturday. The family will receive friends Friday, April 15, 2005 from 6-8 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC.

Mrs. Day, 74, of Aiken, SC, died Wednesday, night, April 13, 2005 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Johnny and Lula Mae Stewart Brunson. Mrs. Day was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and retired from Reigel Textiles.

Sisters, Jewell Wells and Janis Shealy, both of Aiken, SC and many nieces and nephews, survive her.
