Betty Lucille Edwards

JACKSON, SC - Betty Lucille Edwards, 90, passed away March 7, 2023 at Aiken Regional Medical Center.

Born June 6, 1932, in Lodge, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Crosby and Alease Black Crosby. She had a great sense of humor, loved her family, Elvis Presley, southern gospel, and country music.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Joseph Edwards; 13 siblings; and 2 daughters, Beverly Edwards and Kimberly Rudnick.

She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Joshua Davidson, Jason Rudnick, Daniel Edwards, and Elizabeth Edwards; her great-grandson, Elijah Davidson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2023, at George Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 1PM in The George Funeral Chapel. Burial to follow at Southlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Betty’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
