Betty Gene Muma

AIKEN, SC – Betty Gene Muma, age 91, entered into rest on Thursday, May 10, 2018.

Mrs. Muma was born February 20, 1927 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Carl and Marjorie Johnson. She had made Aiken, SC her home since 2003. Mrs. Muma enjoyed camping, ceramics, and playing both mahjong and hand & foot. She was an avid animal lover. Mrs. Muma cherished the time spent with her family and will be remembered as a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Muma was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Harold Muma; a son, Mark Muma; and a brother, Carl Johnson, Jr.

Survivors include two sons, Scott Muma (Vicky), Aiken, SC and Todd Muma (Tom Mullin) Germantown, WI; two grandchildren, Tyler Muma (Allyson Rogers) and Renee Peterson (Andrew); three grandchildren, Gavin, Emmalyn, and McKenzie; and a sister, Donna Mae Stevenson.

A Celebration of Life will be celebrated from 4:00 – 5:30 PM on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Cumberland Village, 3335 Wise Creek Lane, Aiken, SC 29801.
