A memorial service for Mrs. Betty Raley will be held Sunday, afternoon, November 7, 2004 at 2 PM at the First United Methodist Church, Polo, IL. As per her request, Mrs. Raley will be cremated. The family will greet friends following the memorial service in Polo, IL at the home of Edward and Joan Raley, 103 N. Barber Ave., Polo, IL.

Mrs. Raley, 71, of Aiken, SC, wife of fifty-one years to Mr. Robert Raley, died Saturday, morning, October 9, 2004 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Born in Whitewater, WI, a daughter of the late Edward and Esther Wubbena Lingbeck, Betty retired from All Steel Equipment Company as an Office Manager after twenty-one years of service. Prior to her relocating to Hilton Head Island, SC she had been a resident of Batavia, IL. She came to Aiken, SC in 1999 and became a member of the Woodside Women?s Club.

In addition to her husband, a brother, Elmer Lingbeck, Leaf River, IL, brother-in-laws, Wayne and Elizabeth Raley, Grass Valley, CA, Edward and Joan Raley, Polo, IL, and Edmund and Arlene Raley, Surprise, AZ survive.

The family has asked that memorials be made to the Savannah River Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 3694, Aiken, SC 29802.
