Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty Jo Stewart will be held Sunday, May 28, 2006 at 3pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Avenue, SW, Aiken with Rev. Brian Gilmer officiating. Interment will take place on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at 11am at Leadford Family Cemetery, Montezuma, NC. Visitation will be from 2pm until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of your choice.

Mrs. Stewart, 72, of New Ellenton, died Friday, May 26, 2006 at Mattie C. Hall Health Care Center, Aiken.

Mrs. Stewart was born in Newland, NC to the late John and Dora Blackburn Leadford. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, New Ellenton and a waitress at Shoney?s Restaurant, Aiken.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stewart is predeceased by her husband, Paul Edwin Stewart, and sisters, Bernice Oakes, Eloise Adams, and Athena Caccia. She is survived by her son Randy Stewart and his wife, Jan, Huger, SC.
