Beverly Ann Serpone

Beverly Ann Serpone, age 71, passed away on Thursday, August 22nd, 2024, at the Oaks in Aiken following an extended illness.

She was born on Sunday, December 28th, 1952, in Charlerio, Pennsylvania to her late parents, Stanley Charles Gillen and Lorraine Adeline Filoni Gillen. Beverly dedicated 35 years of her life to her occupation as a teacher and guidance counselor, making a meaningful impact at South Aiken High and Aiken County Career Center. She was known for her devotion to her students and her passion for helping others achieve their goals. In her spare time, Beverly enjoyed gardening, playing golf, and spending time with animals. She will be remembered for her kind heart and caring nature towards all creatures big and small.

Beverly is survived by her loving husband, Clark Allen Sharpless, as well as her stepson Alan Sharpless of Maryland and stepdaughter Shannon Phorhauer. She is also survived by her sister Jackie and brother-in-law Glenn Huey of Aiken, SC.
