Beverly Wight Swarthout

AIKEN, SC- Beverly Wight Swarthout died Friday, October 30, 2015 in Aiken, SC at the age of 81.

Beverly is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Swarthout. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Samoranski (Michael) and Diane Moore, all of Aiken, SC; grandchildren, Michael Moore, of Virginia Beach, VA, David Samoranski (Ashley) and Kristen Samoranski of Windsor, CA, and great grandsons, Cameron and Jackson Samoranski.

Beverly attended grade school and high school in Moberly, MO, Christian College in Columbia, MO, and graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia in 1956.

Beverly will be buried with her husband in Arlington National Cemetery under the direction of Jospeh Gawler's Sons Funeral Home, Washington, D.C.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be directed to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 N. Beauregard St., Alexandria, VA 22311.

The Historic George Funeral Home, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC 29801 is assisting the family with local arrangements.
