Bobby Ford Allday

Mr. Bobby F. Allday, 80, of Aiken, died Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Services will be private and are under the direction of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMTION CENTER, Aiken.

A son of the late James Rufus Allday and Jessie Vera Wiley Allday, he was born in Linden, TX and had been living in St. Leonard, MD before moving to Aiken in 2003. He served his Country in the US Army and the US Marine Corps. A teacher by profession, his passion was being a horseman and he raised several world champion horses during his life. It has been said that dogs found and adopted him, further illustrating his love of animals.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Conwell Allday, Aiken; two daughters, Debbie and her husband, Richard, Russ, Huntingtown, MD and Scarlett and her husband William Schall, St. Leonard, MD and a son, Dr. Steven Kimberly Allday, DVM, Shelbysville, KY. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Kelly, Kenny & Christopher
