Burnell Ruth Laux

Funeral services for Mrs. Burnell Ruth Laux will be held Thursday, December 22, 2005 at 2:00 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC, with Pastor Marion F. Britton officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, Aiken, SC. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 22, 2005 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Laux, 74 , of Aiken, SC, died Sunday, morning, December 18, 2005 at her home.

Born in Shawano, WI, she was a daughter of the late John and Ella Rhinehart Fischer. Mrs. Laux came to Aiken, SC from Manitowac, WI, in 1985 and retired from Barnwell County where she was a Drug/Alcohol Abuse Counselor. She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and was a Baptist.

She is survived by a daughter, Terri Lynn Hamby, Ken Simpsonville, SC; son, Roger J. Laux, Jeanne Combined Locks, WI; brother, Jack Fischer, Green Bay, WI; sister, Angie Fischer, Matoon, WI; and grandchildren, Sarah Anzia, Rebecca Laux, Stephanie Laux, and Kenny Hamby.
