Campbell Coyle Smith

Aiken---Mr. Campbell Coyle Smith, 93, husband of the late Ruth McMann Smith, died Saturday, March 8, 2003 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Aiken, SC. Services will be private.

Mr. Smith was the son of the late Thomas Coyle and Laila Bricker Smith, and a native of McComb, OH. He moved to Aiken, in 1974 from Toledo, OH.

Mr. Smith was an Executive Manager for the Jeep Corporation, and served in the US Navy during WWII as a Lieutenant. He was a member of Pilgrim Congregational Church, Toledo, OH. He was an avid golfer and was a member of Heatherdowns Country Club, Toledo, OH and Midland Valley Country Club, Aiken, SC.

Survivors include his son, Daniel and Carol Smith, Toledo, OH, daughters; Carla Peters, Chicago, IL, Becky and Lawrence Hill, Lake Zurich, IL, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the charity of ones choice.
