Capt. Samuel E. Piercy

Aiken, SC-Capt. Samuel E. Piercy, USMC, Ret., 85, of Aiken, SC, died Wednesday night, December 24, 2003, at Eden Gardens. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 30, 2003, at St. Paul?s Lutheran Church with Rev. Bob Snyder officiating.

Capt. Piercy was the husband of the late Lois Turnbull Piercy and son of the late Samuel Ervin and Ella Mae Piercy. He was a native of Jasper, TN. Sam was a member of St. Paul?s Lutheran Church, Aiken, SC.

Survivors include: his sons Sam Piercy, Waxhaw, NC, Bill Piercy, North Logan, Utah; brother Carter Piercy; sisters Margret Williams and Ann Estanich; granddaughters April Simmons and Andrea Piercy; grandson Bryan Roller; and great-grandchildren Steven Piercy, Christina Piercy, Adam Roller, Abigail Roller, and Andrew Roller.
