Carol Mizelle

Carol Mizelle, a resident of Aiken County, SC, died on February 8th, 2024.

Born on January 15th 1939, she is survived by a sister, Merle L. Craven, and a nephew, Kirk Oetting, both of New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Mizelle.

A long-time active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Aiken, SC, Carol was the head of the Altar Guild, and also participated in the Bell Choir. A gifted seamstress and knitter, Carol helped provide knit hats, blankets and similar items for the Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units at a local hospital, and also lap blankets for hospice patients. As we await the resurrection of all the dead at our Lord’s return, Carol will be missed by many this side of eternity.

A memorial service will be conducted at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Aiken, SC on Tuesday, April 16th at 10:00 a.m. Carol will be interred with her husband at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, SC, April 16th at 2:00 p.m.
