Charlene Mae Buske

Mrs. Charlene Mae Buske, age 82, entered into eternal rest on Thursday evening, December 7, 2023, at her residence in Aiken, South Carolina surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral services will be held in private. Charlene was born in Oneida, New York and is the daughter of the late Albert and Glady’s Evans. She spent most of her life in upstate New York and Glastonbury, CT. Charlene retired from Savings Bank Life Insurance (“SBLI”) located in Hartford, CT., and spent many of her retirement years in Aiken, South Carolina.

Charlene leaves behind many cherished memories to her loving husband of 63 years, John (“Jack”) Buske, and leaves behind her daughter, Debbie Watkins and her husband Doug Watkins, East Hampton, CT; two sons, John Buske, Jr., and his wife Ann Marie Buske (Andover, CT), Jeffrey Buske and his wife Jill Buske (Belchertown, MA), and six grandchildren; Steven Buske, Amber Buske, Rebecca Buske, Danny Watkins, Maddie Buske, and Jack Watkins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Empyrean Hospice, 900 Trail Ridge Road, Suite 105, Aiken, SC 29803.
