Charles Edgar Puette Ii

GROVETOWN, GA—Charles Edgar Puette II, age 70, entered into rest on Saturday, April 29, 2017.

Charles was born December 31, 1946 in Columbia, SC to the late Lyman Bruce Puette and the late Virginia Watford Puette. He served two four year tours in the U.S. Air Force and retired as an E-4 Sergeant. After his service in the military, he worked in maintenance for the Aiken County School System. Charles loved to hunt and play golf and work on small engines.

Survivors include a sister, Michelle Puette, Athens, GA; three brothers, Walter Scott Puette (Anne), Crestview, FL, John D. Puette (Rebecca), Colbert, GA, and Lyman Bruce Puette, Jr. (Stacey), Wallace, SC; three nephews, John D. Puette, Jr., Joshua Puette and William Bruce Puette; a niece, Jennifer L. Minor; his legal guardian and friend Sara Smith; Mary Ann Reasoner, Stephanie Green, Terry Green, Tonya Boyd, Richard Boyd, Kailey Boyd, April Brown, Barrette Brown, Megan Synenberg, Annabelle Synenberg, and Tyler Tucker.

Friends may call Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at George Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Southlawn Cemetery.
