Charles Carroll Trotter

AIKEN, SC – Charles Carroll Trotter, age 76, entered into rest Friday, January 15, 2021.

Mr. Trotter was born June 27, 1944 in Edgefield County, SC to the late Hammond and Louise Trotter. He was a resident of Aiken, SC since 1998. He was the owner and operator of Trotter Site Preparation LLC for the past seventeen years. His passion was his work and he was known as a hard worker. His hobby was spending time on his yacht on Hilton Head Island on the weekends with his wife.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Trotter.

Survivors include his wife of fifth-six years, Cheryl Trotter; a daughter, Misty Asbill (Michael), Myrtle Beach, SC; two sons, Richard Trotter (Beth), Columbia, SC and Michael Vail (Joey), Cary, NC; four grandchildren, Trotter, Walker, Smith, and Riley; a sister, Judy Eubanks (Donnie); and a brother, Gene Trotter (Marie).
