Connie Thomas Wise

AIKEN, SC – Connie Thomas Wise, age 84, died peacefully Monday, January 18, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Wise was born August 16, 1936 in Malad, ID to the late William Thomas and the late Amy Thomas. She had been a resident of Aiken, SC since 1988. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints, Coker Springs Ward. She spent her life serving her family and church. She also enjoyed quilting.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wise was preceded in death by two brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-two years, Joseph Wise; five children, Jennifer Bassett (Max), Aiken, SC, Garth Wise (Sandra), Pittsburgh, PA, Cordell Wise (Judi), Morgan Wise (Kathy), Omaha, NB, and Lenore Odekrik (Shawn), Parker, CO; grandchildren, Christina Reck, Mason Bassett, Jordan Bassett, Amy Bassett, Joel Bassett, Emery Bassett, Annalise Bassett, Zakiah Bassett, Neva Bassett, Gart Joseph Wise, Karian Gregg, Conor Wise, Jeremy Jordan, Kate Ensign, Alison Odekirk, and Jessica Odekirk; eleven great-grandchildren; a brother, Gerry Thomas (Jackie); and a sister, Donna Marie Field.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 22, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints, 358 East Pine Log Rd., Aiken, SC. Bishop Phil Sirk conducting. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
