Constance "Connie" Jarzmik

Connie Jarzmik, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 31, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on September 29, 1952, in Elmhurst, Illinois, Connie lived a life filled with warmth, kindness, and a deep commitment to her family and community.

Connie’s dedication and love to her family were unwavering, and she supported the endeavors of her loved ones. She took pride in creating a beautiful home and maintaining an active lifestyle. She loved animals of all kinds, particularly her horses and rescue dogs. Much of her time was spent at the barn in the presence of her dear friends and horses.

Connie's passions extended beyond her family as she actively participated in several community organizations. A dedicated volunteer, she contributed her time and efforts to FOTAS (Friends of the Animal Shelter), working tirelessly to improve the lives of animals in need. Her love for horses led her to work closely with Aiken Equine Rescue, where she dedicated herself to the welfare and rehabilitation of horses. Connie was also a member of The Reserve Club of Woodside, where she enjoyed spending time with friends and partaking in community events. She was a lifelong member of P.E.O. and Daughters of the Revolution.

Connie is survived by her devoted husband, Bruce Jarzmik; her two sons, Kyle Jarzmik of Atlanta, GA, and Kevin (Molly) Jarzmik of Charlotte, NC. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Bruce Kleber and Betty Kleber, and sister, Candace Sutfin.

In honor of Connie's life and commitment to animal welfare, the family requests that donations be made to FOTAS in her memory.
