Daniel Donato Egnezzo

A Funeral Mass for Mr. Daniel Donato Egnezzo, Sr., will be celebrated at 11am on Saturday, October 8, 2005 at St. Mary Help of Christian?s Catholic Church, Aiken. Mr. Egnezzo, 66, of Aiken, died Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

A son of the late Frank and Nellie Gizzo Egnezzo, he was born in Orange, NJ and had lived in Madison, NJ before moving to Aiken in 1992. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was awarded 2 Purple Hearts and one Bronze Star during his service in Viet Nam. He was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church and a member of Knights of Columbus Council #3684, Aiken. After a successful career in retail shoe sales in NJ, Mr. Egnezzo worked as a supervisor of building and grounds at South Aiken High School.

Mr. Egnezzo is survived by his wife, Carmella Testa Egnezzo, Aiken, 4 sons; Vincent and his wife Lee, Egnezzo, Belvidere, SC, Sergio Luke Ferrisi, Aiken, Daniel D. Egnezzo, Jr., Florida and Freddy Egnezzo, Verona, NJ. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
