David Jannone

Memorial services for David Alfonso Jannone, 66, of Aiken, will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Chapel of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org/donate.

Mr. Jannone passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015. Born in Mt. Holly, NJ, he was a son of the late Alfonso and Catherine Brinning Jannone. He was a US Army Vietnam Veteran where he received the Purple Heart. He was a member of the VFW Post 10601. In his spare time, he enjoyed restoring classic cars, fishing and spending time with his friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Jannone.

Survivors include his son, Alfonso D. Jannone (Katie) of Greenville and sisters, Roseann Mancuso of Port Orange, Florida and Jennie Lauer (Larry) of Ormond Beach, Florida.
