Dawn Francine Fowler Barrett

Aiken, SC-Funeral services for Mrs. Dawn Fowler Barrett will be held Saturday, February 22, 2003 at 11 AM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC, with Reverend Eugene Mullikin officiating. Interment will follow in the Slate Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, London, KY. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 AM until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Barrett, 49, of Aiken, SC, wife of Mr. H.L. ?Les? Barrett, died Thursday, afternoon, February 20, 2003 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Aiken, SC.

Born in Clinton, IN, a daughter of the B.J. and Kathleen Parrish Fowler, Aiken, SC, she had lived in Aiken for most of her life, where she was a member of St. John?s United Methodist Church. A dedicated wife and mother, she loved her family, and enjoyed her friends. She was also a collector of Do-Op?music and loved animals.

In addition to her husband of H.L. ?Les? of 29 years and her parents, B.J. and Kathleen Parrish Fowler, sons, Damion Barrett, and his wife Misty, Huntsville, AL and Wesley Barrett, and his fiancée Jennifer Bickel, Columbia, SC, survive.
