Dean Edmund Nusbaum, 87, of Aiken, SC passed away peacefully on Friday, November 15, 2024.

Born in Taneytown, MD, Dean was the son of the late Edmund Jesse Nusbaum and Helen Dutterer Nusbaum. Dean began his career working in the Nusbaum family canning business, became a Corporate Controller and was finally a small business owner prior to retiring to Aiken, SC.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dean enjoyed spectator sports—particularly baseball—and later grew passionate for the game of golf. He is lovingly remembered and survived by his three sons: Kevin (Brenda) Nusbaum of Lakewood Ranch, FL, Kendal Nusbaum of Rockville, MD, and Karry (Anne) Nusbaum of Elkton, MD. His legacy continues through his five grandchildren: Sara, Jesse, Dean, Annie, and Karry; and 2 great-grandchildren: Oliver and Sophie.

Dean was preceded in death by his high school sweetheart and beloved wife of 68 years, Thelma Nusbaum, who passed away on October 8, 2014.
