Don William Beckwith

AIKEN, SC -- Funeral services for Don William Beckwith, 60, of Aiken, SC were held in Belzoni, MS. He died unexpectedly Saturday, December 30 at St. Dominic Hospital, Jackson, MS. Burial was in Goodenlake Baptist Church Cemetery, Belzoni, MS.

The family will receive friends in Aiken on Thursday, January 11, 2017 from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at George Funeral Home.

He was born in Isola, MS where he attended school. He married Angela Anderson making their home in Aiken, SC. He owned and operated Beckwith Builders for the past 30 years. He was a dedicated husband and father and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Robin Beckwith and by his parents, John Beckwith, Jr. and Mattie Sue Hodo Beckwith.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Angela Beckwith of Aiken, SC; two sons, Jonathan Beckwith of Aiken, SC and Brantley Wallace Beckwith of West Hollywood, CA; two brothers, Allen Dwayne Beckwith of Greenville and John Richard Beckwith III of Kilbourne, LA; four sisters, Sandra K. Ware Beckwith of Greenville, Beth Ann Beckwith of Long Beach, MS, Barbara Sue Beckwith of Long Beach, MS and Pamela K. Beckwith of Long Beach, MS and one grandchild.
