It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Donna Dale Becker, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025, at the age of 81.
A resident of Aiken, SC, Donna was born on November 22, 1943, in Falls Church, Virginia. Throughout her life, she touched the hearts of everyone who knew her.
Donna was a retired devoted counselor for alcohol and drug addiction with the Aiken Center. Her empathetic nature and unwavering dedication transformed many lives. She had a zeal for life's adventures, capturing the beauty of the world through her wildlife photography, and ventured across the globe as a passionate world traveler. Her thoughtful, caring spirit burned brightly through her involvement with organizations like ACTS Ministry and the Red Cross, continually using her skills and talents to give back to her community and beyond.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years, Larry Dale Becker of the home. Donna will be deeply missed by her son, John and his wife Evelyn Crain of Waycross, GA; her stepson, Dale Becker of Atlanta, GA; and her two stepdaughters, Debora Moore of Grovetown, GA, and Denise Sherard of Austin, TX. Her legacy will further be carried on by her seven treasured grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy and pride.
Donna was preceded in death by her loving parents, Donald William Fisher and Juanita Evelyn Fisher, as well as her precious daughter, Stephanie Guisti.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 6:00pm in The Historic George Funeral Home & Cremation Center Downtown Chapel with Rev. Phillip Lee officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00pm until 6:00pm on Friday evening.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Donna's honor to ACTS Ministry, 340 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801.
