Doris Duncan Filmon

AIKEN, SC – Doris Duncan Filmon, age 93, passed away August 12, 2022.

Mrs. Filmon was born October 4, 1928, in Greenville, SC to the late Fred and Viola Duncan. She was the Pastor’s secretary at Aiken’s First Baptist Church for 25 years. She loved to travel.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Loy W. Filmon Jr.; two sons, Wayne Filmon (Erica) and Jeffery Filmon; five grandchildren, Jennifer Filmon, Josh Johnson (Emily), Kristy Rowe, Brett Ross (Jordan), and Katie Massotti (Pasquale); and great-grandchildren, Joseph Isenhoward, Ashley Isenhoward, Colton Johnson, Kylie Johnson, Brody Twitty, Isabella Massotti, Eric Massotti, Lillian Massotti, Gavin Rowe, Blakeleigh Ross, Brenna Ross, and Carolina Ross.

A memorial service will be held at Aiken’s First Baptist Church on August 27, 2022, at 12:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The National Pediatric Cancer Foundation and/or the Autism Society of America.
