Doris Wicker

Funeral services for Doris Stuck Wicker, 86, of Aiken, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the Chapel of George Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Bob Byrne. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Mrs. Wicker, widow of George Wicker, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Born in Pomaria, SC, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Minnie Stuck. Mrs. Wicker was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, she loved music and played the piano for her church since she was a teenager. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Stuck.

Survivors include her daughters, Sheri Page (Larry) of Aiken and Nancy Young (Tommy) of Aiken; a son, Darrell Wicker (Nila) of N. Augusta; a brother, Gurnie Stuck (Nora) of Pomaria; a sister-in-law, Merlee Stuck of Pomaria; 6 grandchildren, Doug Page (Marian), Jennifer Morgan (Aaron), Jarrett Wicker, Brandon Page (Emma), Kristin Padgett (Russ) and Scot Page (Chandy) and 6 great-grandchildren.
