Dorothy Vine Bauman

Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Dorothy Vine Bauman will be celebrated Saturday, December 3, 2005 at 11 AM at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Aiken, SC, with Reverend James LeBlanc celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Aiken, SC.

Mrs. Bauman, 95, of Aiken, SC, died Sunday, afternoon, November 27, 2005 at Mattie C. Hall Health Care Center, Aiken, SC.

Born in Buffalo, NY, she was a daughter of the late George and Jeanette Amedick Vine and was a graduate of Bryant & Stratton Business College. She came to Aiken, SC, in 1988 where she became a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Mrs. Bauman enjoyed a game of Bridge, gardening and was adored by and adored her family.

She is survived by a sister, Bernice V. Quinlan, Buffalo, NY; step-son, Norman Bauman, Peggy Grand Island, NY; step-daughter, Virginia B. Vine, Aiken, SC; nephews, Richard Vine, Sandra Aiken, SC, Robert Vine, Sr Kim Aiken, SC, and Daniel Vine, Robin Aiken, SC; nieces, Karen Schroder, Savannah, GA, Georgianna Satcher, Chip Johnston, SC, and Georgianna Patterson, Aiken, SC.
