Dorothy Louise Bryce

Mrs. Dorothy Louise Bryce, 89, of Aiken, SC died Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Anchor Health and Rehab of Aiken. Funeral services will be private and she will be buried with her husband at Beaufort National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to The American Heart Association, 520 Gervais St. Columbia, SC 29201.

A daughter of the late Clarence William McFarland and Beulah Vanarsdall, she was born in Atherton, MO and had lived in Albany, MO before moving to Aiken in 1998. She worked with her late husband, John J. Bryce, operating the Albany Lanes Bowling Alley and the B & B Café, Albany.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Clarence Henry McFarland.

She is survived by two sons, Michael D. Michele Bryce Sr., Aiken, SC and Richard Wendy Bryce, Springfield, MO; two granddaughters, Deana Preston Powell and Cristina Brent Callan; three grandsons, Joe Bryce, Ryan Tiffany Bryce and Michael Dean Bryce, Jr., and seven great grandchildren, Zeke Deas, Drew Deas, McClay Powell, John Callan, Brent Callan, Cora Bryce and Eden Bryce.
