Earlye M. Odum

Funeral Services for Mrs. Earlye M. Baker Odum will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2002 at 2:00pm at First Presbyterian Church of Aiken. With Dr. Bill Johnston officiating. The interment will precede the service and take place at 1:00pm at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be this evening from 6-8pm at George Funeral Homes Historic Downtown Chapel 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken. Memorial donations should be directed to First Presbyterian Church of Aiken 224 Barnwell Ave. NW Aiken SC 29801. Mrs. Odum, 92, of Aiken, died Sunday at Mattie C. Hall Health Care Center. A daughter of the late James and Anne Bowman Baker, she was born in Maury County, TN and had lived in Old Hickory, TN before moving to Aiken in 1952. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Aiken and had been a member of the Aiken Regional Medical Centers Auxiliary for many years. Her husband, James Odum, died in 1987. She is survived by her sons William Dawson Jordan, Dallas, TX, James R. Odum, Atlanta, GA and Joseph V. Odum, Aiken. She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
