Edna Parris Dillard

Mrs. Edna Parris Dillard, 82, wife of Lloyd B. Dillard, died Monday, September 29, 2003 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Graveside services will be held 2PM Thursday at Southlawn Cemetery with Rev. Herbert Gladden and Toby Rowell officiating.

Mrs. Dillard was the daughter of the late Zeb and Nettie Parris. She was born in Addie, NC, moving to Montmorenci in 1952, and then to Aiken in 1973. She worked at the Montmorenci Post Office, Roses for 14 years and volunteered as a Pink Lady for 42 years at Aiken Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Montmorenci First Baptist Church. Edna loved gardening, making crafts and participating in craft shows.

Survivors include her husband, son, Kenneth Dillard, Aiken, daughters, Lorrene Gabriel, and Sue Eubanks, both of Montmorenci, SC, brother, Kenneth Parris, Chico, CA, sisters, Hazel Shular, Sylva, NC, Joanne Gordon, Hendersonville, NC, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
