Edward Richard Stefanko Jr

Edward Richard Stefanko, Jr., 81, beloved husband of Stella Marie Kerr Stefanko passed away suddenly in his sleep in the early morning hours of Friday, May 12, 2023.

Born in Pennsylvania on June 12, 1941, he was the son of the late Edward Richard & Irene Fern Leghart Stefanko. Mr. Stefanko was a proud United State American Veteran having served in the United States Navy. He was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Church. He retired from Ford Motor Company was a Parts Distribution Supervisor. Mr. Stefanko loved golf, fishing, hunting, gardening, yardwork and anything involving being outdoors. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother.

Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 daughters, Kim Stefanko of Warrenville & Eileen Stefanko (Gerry) Arteaga of Pembrook Pines, FL; 4 sons, Kevin (Tonya) Grant of Lima, OH, Joe (Hope) Grant of Moorehead City, NC; Tim (Misty) Grant of Moorehead City, NC & Mike Stefanko of St. Mary’s, OH; a sister, Eileen Marie S. Christian of Indio, CA; a brother, Ron (Jeannie) Stefanko of Columbia City, ID; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Stefanko was pre-deceased by a daughter Tina Stefanko and a son, Eddie Stefanko.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at a 10:00a.m on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Historic St. Mary Help of Christians Church, 215 Park Ave, SW, Aiken, SC 29801 with Father Orlando Serrano Ardila as celebrant.

Visitation with the family will begin at 5:00p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2023 with a Rosary service to be held at 6:15 pm. at the Historic George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801 (803) 649.6234.

Final Rites and Commendation along with Naval Military honors will follow in Calvary Cemetery, 1255 University Lane, Aiken, SC 29801.
