Elizabeth M. Ball

Aiken, SC-A memorial mass will be celebrated Thursday, morning, May 16, 2002 at 10 at St. Helen?s Catholic Church, Vero Beach, FL. Mrs. Ball, 87, passed away Monday, evening, May 6, 2002 in Aiken, SC. She was pre-deceased by her husband Dr. Carleton Ball.

Mrs. Ball retired to Vero Beach, FL, in 1982 from Glen Rock, NJ. She had been an elementary school teacher for twenty-five years. She was active with Girl Scouts; Chairman Evening Dept. of Glen Rock Woman?s, was with the auxiliary at Valley Hospital Ridgewood and a member of N.J.E.A. and N.J.R.E.A.

Upon retiring to Vero Beach, she volunteered at St. Helen?s Bingo and was with the auxiliary at I.R.M.H. for seventeen years. She was a member of St. Helen?s Catholic Church, Vero Beach, FL.

Mrs. Ball is survived by two children, Mary Elizabeth Schroeder of Aiken, SC and Vero Beach, FL, and Carleton M. Ball, Vero Beach, FL; grandchildren, Steven P. Bovenkerk, Bradlea Lynn Lowman, Mark E. Bovenkerk, and Tara M. Schroeder, and five great-grandchildren, Ryan, Michael, Conor, Megan, and Sydney.

In lieu of Flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Indian River Hospital, 1000 36 th St., Vero Beach, FL 39260
