Emelia Millie'' Blachut Hite

Funeral services for Mrs. Emelia ?Millie? Blachut Hite will be held Saturday, July 24, 2004 at 10 AM from the graveside in Aiken Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dr. W.C. Lowe officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, July 23, 2004 from 6 until 8 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC.

Mrs. Hiite, 81, of Aiken, SC, wife of fifty-nine years to the late Yancy L. Hite, Jr., died Wednesday, afternoon, July 21, 2004 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of the late Jozef and Wanda Niedabylok Blachut, she had resided in Fairlawn, NJ prior to coming to Aiken twenty-five years ago. She retired from the Berol Corporation as a manager after fifteen years of service.

A son, Robert Y. Hite, Lake Ariel, PA; daughters, Geraldine DeVito, Las Vegas, NV and Dona Marie Hite, Warwick, NY; sister, Helen Teutul, Montgomery, NY; grandchildren Robert DeVito, Jr., Butler, NJ, Robin Poltersdorf, Milford, PA, Randi DeVito, Las Vegas, NV, Michele Golding, Port Jervis, NY, Thomas Lotterman, Jr., Tafton, PA; and Kristi Ree Hite, Scranton, PA and great-grandchildren, Alex and Tyler DeVito, Ringwood, NJ, survive.

The family has asked that memorials in memory of Mrs. Hite be made to the American Heart Association, 1003 Hammond Rd., Aiken, SC 29803 or the charity of your choice.
