Aiken---Ms. Erica Dawn Reed, 19, died June 9, 2002 at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital. Survivors include her parents Mark & Mary Reed, Aiken; brother, Andy Reed, Aiken; paternal grandmother, Kayoko Reed, Aiken; and maternal grandmother, Mildred Felter, Benton, MO. Ms. Reed was born in Cape Girardeau, MO and moved to Aiken in 1987. She was a member of Midland Valley First Church of the Nazarene, 2000 Graduate of Aiken High School, was a member of the Aiken High School Band and Girls Softball Team. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 11 form 4-6 pm with a memorial service at 6pm at the George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel with Pastor Scott Ostendorf officiating. Burial will be private. The family wishes that memorials be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 1247 Lake Murray Boulevard, Irmo, SC 29063 or to please donate blood, platelets or bone marrow in her memory.
