Funeral services for Mr. Ernest M. Lowe will be held Sunday, December 15 at Chime Bell Baptist Church at 3PM, with the Rev. Gary Fleetwood officiating. Pallbearers will be Joey Lowe, Danny Lowe, Patrick Lowe, Grady Gordon, Donald Gilmore, and Glen Gilmore. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight Sat. from 6-8PM at George Funeral Homes, Southside Chapel, 3175 Whiskey Rd. The family wishes memorials be made to Chime Bell Baptist Church, 1013 Chime Bell Church Rd., Aiken, SC 29803. Mr. Ernest M. Lowe, 86, of Aiken, husband of Sabra Gordon Lowe, died Friday, December, 13 at Mattie C. Hall Nursing Home. He was the son of the late Chester and Laura Heath Lowe, and a native of Aiken. He was also predeceased by his three sisters; Deloris Davidson, Dolly Budnaitis, and Emma Knight. He was a member of Chime Bell Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Survivors include his wife, sons; Donald Lowe, Charleston, SC, Daniel Lowe, New Ellenton, SC, daughter, Doris Gilmore, Crest Hill, IL., brothers; Joe Lowe, New Ellenton, SC, Richard H. Lowe, Aiken, SC, sister Alice Massey, Augusta, GA, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
