Ernestine Bolinger Hedrick

Funeral services for Mrs. Ernestine Bolinger Hedrick will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at 3 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC, with Mark Hudson officiating. Interment will take place Friday, June 3, 2005 at 11 AM at Rosewood Cemetery, Achille, OK. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 31, 2005 from 1:30 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hedrick, 87, of Aiken, SC, died Saturday, night, May 21, 2005 at Pepperhill Nursing Center, Aiken, SC.

Born in Yarnaby, OK, a daughter of the late Dr. E.W. and Pearl Gould Bolinger, she had been a resident of Aiken, SC since 1952 where she retired from North Aiken Elementary as a Teacher after thirty-two years of service. She was an avid Bridge player and was a member of the Aiken Church of Christ.

She is survived by her son, Robert ?Bob? Hedrick, Caroline Roanoke, VA; daughters, Sandra Pelt Alan and Cheryl Young, Ray both of Hugo, OK; brother, Ernest Bolinger, Jr., Las Vegas, NV; sister, Pauline Grimes, Amarillo, TX; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
