Esther Faye Thomas

Funeral services for Esther Thomas, 62, of Aiken, who died Saturday, December 14, 2002 at her residence, will be held 2pm Tuesday, December 16, 2002 at George Funeral Homes Historic Downtown Chapel with Rev. Jerry Tindall officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 at the funeral home. Memorial Donations may be directed to American Cancer Society, PO Drawer 2 Aiken, SC 29802. Mrs. Thomas was the daughter of the late Ivy and Clara Avery Hibdon and a native of St. Louis, MO. She had lived in Tampa, FL before moving to Aiken in 1975 and was a convenience store manager, having worked at Golden Pantry from 1988-1998.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by two sons, Barry Morgan, Aiken and Daryl Davis, Windsor, three daughters; Debbie Pierron, Windsor, Michelle Farrell, Aiken and Diane Dami, Windsor, her step-mother; Anna Hibdon, St. Louis, MO, three brothers; Joseph Hibdon, Greenville, SC, Philip Hibdon, Memphis, TN and Danny Hibdon, St. Louis, MO, two sisters; Mary Sanders, St. Louis, MO and Naomi Mitchell, San Diego, CA, fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
