Felicia Lafavor Maxwell

A memorial service for Felicia LaFavor Maxwell will be held Sunday, August 22, 2004 at 3pm in Hopeland Gardens, Aiken, SC with Rev. Horace Lariscy officiating. The family will receive friends at the Rye Patch, adjacent Hopeland Gardens on Sunday from 1:30 until 2:45. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society, PO Box K Aiken, SC 29802.

Mrs. Maxwell, 50, of Aiken, died Friday August 20, 2004 at her residence. She was born in Augusta, GA and had lived in Aiken since 1989. She had been a social worker for the State of Georgia. She was a member of the Pallet & Porcelain Artist Guild and volunteered at Chukker Creek Elementary School and Kennedy Middle School.

She is survived by her husband of 24 years; Allen Ray Maxwell, Aiken, her daughter; Olivia Leigh Maxwell, Aiken, her mother; Mavis Newsome LaFavor, Aiken and her father and mother-in-law; Mr. & Mrs. Billy R. Maxwell, Carrollton, GA.
