Florence Massey

AIKEN, SC – Florence “Flo” Massey, born December 21, 1924, died September 21, 2022.

Flo was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Massey and son, William Gerard.

Surviving are her son, Stephen Massey (Stephanie), of Richmond, VA; daughters, Barbara DePalermo (Joseph), of Aiken, SC, and Lori Clarke (David), of Irvington, VA; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 17, 2022, at the Old Historic St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, 125 Park Ave., SE, with The Very Rev. Father Gregory Wilson as celebrant. Final prayers and commendation will be in Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, Long Island, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of one’s choice is appreciated.
