Francesca Mancino Downs, a beloved truck driver and cherished resident of Windsor, SC, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 7th, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on Saturday, April 24th, 1954, in Monroe, New York, Francesca was a woman of remarkable strength and boundless love, deeply rooted in her passions and heritage.

Francesca was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her three sons: Steve Downs of Jedburg, SC, William Downs, IV of Windsor, SC, and Travis Downs of Windsor, SC. Her legacy continues through her 14 grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. Francesca was predeceased by her parents, Sam Mancino and Betty Jo Mancino, and was reunited in eternal peace with her son, Tony Downs, her daughter, Sabrina Downs, her brother, Samuel Mancino, and her sister, Gwyn Broccolo.

As a truck driver, Francesca traveled many roads and touched countless lives with her warm spirit and infectious smile. In her personal time, she was a talented pool player and an avid collector, known for her impressive array of wolf figurines and Native American and Italian artifacts. Francesca had a remarkable culinary talent and took great pleasure in cooking for her family and friends, who will forever cherish the memories of her delicious meals.

Francesca's life will be celebrated and remembered for her kindness, resilience, and passion for life. Her friends and family find comfort in the lasting impact she made and the love she shared with all who knew her.
