Fred R. Anderson

Beech Island, SC-A memorial service for Mr. Fred R. Anderson will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at 11 AM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC, with Pastor Phillip Lee officiating.

Mr. Anderson, 52, of Beech Island, SC, husband of Mrs. Karen Harris Anderson, died suddenly Thursday, afternoon, January 1, 2004 at University Hospital, Augusta, GA.

Born in Brockton, MA, a son of the late Fred R. and Dorothy Marie Burke Anderson, he had been a resident of Massachusetts, prior to relocating to Beech Island, SC, nine years ago. Fred was Vietnam Veteran having proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a field technician with Cooperheat MQS.

In addition to his wife of ten years, Mrs. Karen Harris Anderson, a son, James Anderson, daughter, Christine Anderson, stepson, Paul L. Edge, Attleboro, MA; and grandchild, Leah Stonis, survive.

The family has requested that memorials in memory of Fred be made to the charity of choice.
