Fresia Carolina Silva

Fresia Carolina Silva, age 85, entered into rest July 16, 2023 in the home of Carla Silva (DaSilva) and John Cammisuli in Aiken County, where she was cared for as per her request.

Fresia was born March 29, 1938 in Lima, Peru and was married January 17, 1959 to her late husband, Carlos Enrique Silva Orellana. Before becoming an American Citizen and resident, she had owned her own clothing line in Peru known as Carolina. She had also worked in the airline industry for over 40 years. Fresia was a hard working wife and mother ensuring her family was happy and healthy.

She is survived by her five children; Giuliana Proietti, Carlos Silva, Ricardo Silva, Luis Silva and Carla Silva. (DaSilva). Her 16 grandchildren; Christina Silva Gallagher, Carlos Silva, Valeria Proietti, Carla Helmuth, Joseph Silva, Peter Diakovasilis, Cesar Silva, Irene Diakovasilis, Renato Silva, Giulianno Silva, Giancarlo Proietti, Michael Silva, Piero Silva, Giuliana Diakovasilis, Laura Proietti and Alexa Silva. She will also be

remembered by her six great grandchildren; Charlie Gallagher, Mia Gallagher, Massimo Helmuth,

Matthew Signorella, Mariella Helmuth and Enzo Flores Silva. They will all hold the dear memories they have shared with Fresia within their hearts. She has touched the lives of countless family members and friends, leaving behind beautiful memories and a legacy of love. She will be dearly missed by those who were privileged to know a kind and loving soul like Fresia. May Fresia find eternal peace, happiness and love.

The family will be getting together to honor Fresia Saturday, July 22, 2023 at George Funeral Home, from 12pm until 2pm with funeral to follow on site at 2:00 pm. The services will be done in Spanish. Burial will be in Lima, Peru at a later date.
