George H. Wall

Funeral services for Mr. George H. Wall will be held Friday, March 25, 2005 at 3 PM at South Aiken Church of God, Aiken, SC with Pastor Bruce Fox and Pastor Kenny Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in Hollow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Aiken, SC. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Thursday, March 24, 2005 at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC.

Mr. Wall, 72, of Aiken, SC, died Wednesday, morning, March 23, 2005 at Walton Rehabilitation Hospital, Augusta, GA.

Born in Williston, SC, a son of the late Cleveland and Julia Mae Derriso Wall, he had been a resident of Aiken, SC since 1947 where he retired from Jones-Murph Land Surveyors in 1995 after fifty-three years of service.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Lucy Randall Wall, daughters, Kathy M. Baughman, Leesville, SC, June Surratt, Aiken, SC, and Brenda Wade, Aiken, SC; brother, Harold Anderson, Aiken, SC; sister, Dorothy Brunson, Leesville, SC; fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
